THE BOTTEGA JODIE
One of my favorites by Bottega Veneta, the Jodie is the present day take on the iconic Bottega Veneta hobo. The 'Jodie' tote only debuted two years ago, but it's already been re-imagined in countless, sizes, colors, textures, and materials. I love how this bag can add texture to my more minimal looks and when I’m on the go, especially in the fall and winter, the Small Jodie never fails. Because the bag comes in a wide range of sizes, it’s easy for someone to find the size and color combination that best fits them. In my current collection, I have the Small Jodie in Fondant and the Teen Jodie in Taupe Suede. Previously, I also had the original Mini Jodie in White and the new Mini Jodie in Caramel.

THE SMALL JODIE
If I had to pick just one, the Small Jodie is my favorite. I love the slouch this size gives and the perfect balance it gives my Fall & Winter wardrobe. When styling bulkier pieces, it’s the perfect size for my frame and can easily fit most, if not all, my necessities for a busy day. Bottega Veneta does an incredible job of having a distinct style without any intense branding because the hand-woven intrecciato is so distinct and well known among handbag lovers. Made of 100% lambskin leather, this beautiful bag has been a favorite in my personal collection ever since I got it in 2021.

THE TEEN JODIE
I purchased the Teen Jodie in suede this year before my trip to Japan and this size is great for the spring and summer when I wear thinner pieces. The taupe color is something I was yearning for in my collection and thought the suede Jodie was the right piece to add into my neutral wardrobe. Though this wouldn’t be considered as much of an “everyday” bag like the small Jodie because of the leather, it’s still a great bag to have while I’m out and about. I love the ease of a shoulder carry without it feeling too bulky and the option to hold in my hand without worrying about it dragging. I had been contemplating a Teen Jodie since last year but in a leather/color different from my Small. The Teen is a great size for anyone that feels like the Small is too big for them, but also want something more practical than the Mini Jodie.

THE MINI JODIE
The Mini Jodie was actually my first Jodie back in 2020. It’s a wonderful bag if you gravitate more towards mini bags, fits the essentials for a night out or an event but definitely felt like the larger counterparts were a bit more my speed in the recent years. If you asked me today if it were to ever come back into my collection, I wouldn’t be able to confidently say no. The Jodie is a wonderful bag and I think if the right color came along, I’d be tempted all over again.
