WORK BAG EDIT

I’ve been through my fair share of totes in the past and if I had to really stick to one good “work tote” it’d probably be the Celine Sangle. I loved the wider strap to better distribute the weight when I was lugging my laptop every single day from class, to work, to my internship. Now that I travel with a much lighter computer, I can swap between a couple of different bags and be alright. I got a request to share my recommendations for a work tote and found a couple of different options! New year, new bag. Am I right? But first…

Some things to consider before you start shopping and questions to ask yourself before you hit checkout since everyone’s lifestyle is different!

Are you commuting via public transportation or driving? How the bag is carried is going to come into play here. Top handles are fine but if I’m taking the bus or train, I’d go with a tote. Is it secure? Does the bag gape open or is there a zipper for additional security? Is the material going to travel and age well or is it a bit more delicate?

If you’re looking to fit a laptop, most of these should be able to fit at least a 13” computer, but just double check the height / width measurements!
