CLOUD-LIKE

I have wandered into Restoration Hardware many times, and each time, I plop onto the Cloud Sofa, say one day I’ll have it, but let’s be real, maybe not. I’ve heard mixed reviews from Cloud-Sofa-owners, and hearing from buyers that they don’t recommend it is enough for me to think to just shop similar styles elsewhere. A couple things to note, because it is such a comfortable sofa, I would probably only consider it realistically for a space that won’t be used often. Maybe in the bedroom or office? I would steer clear of making it your everyday sofa, the sofa for a living room that often hosts many guests, etc. I’ve heard people mention the backing sinking in, the inserts getting bunched up together, etc. But another thing to note is that hefty price tag.

The Cloud Sofa is completely modular and its components begin at $1595 ($1196 if you’re a RH Member). The bigger the sofa, the higher the price tag. If you’re still interested in the Cloud Sofa, you can shop it here, directly on the RH website!

If you’re looking for alternates, I’ve scoured the internet and rounded up some great alternates. To begin, let’s price out an L-shaped Cloud Sofa.

ALTERNATE CHOICES

West Elm Harmony Modular Sectional is obviously one of my favorites. We have the Harmony in its older version but the updated modular sofa is a perfect alternate.

And if incase you checked all these out and your heart still tells you that the Cloud Sofa is the one, then definitely go for it! I just recommend definitely being an RH member because that alone will save you a few thousand dollars. Check out a couple other sofas I’ve been loving as well!
