THE TRAVEL EDIT

It’s been some time since my last Travel Essentials post, so before any travels for 2024 are underway, I’m sharing some things that have been so helpful for my trips over the past year. Feel free to bookmark and save for your upcoming travels for 2024.

LUGGAGES

When it comes to luggages, I often get asked “Rimowa or ___” but if your budget allows, Rimowa luggages are great because I do love the Trunk Silhouette. Marco and I have been able to travel a lot with Monos and Away but I’ve recently been loving the interiors of my Monos luggage, and my parents love it too after I was able to gift them both a full set. If you’re looking for a luggage but not looking to spend over $1000, I would suggest Monos! They also have a Trunk silhouette that is perfect for traveling in places that are a bit tighter on space since your luggage won’t require as much room to get in and out of.

ORGANIZERS

Organizers are a big must have. Beauty Bag, tech, jewelry, and of course, packing cubes. Mine are from Monos and I never travel without them. Sharing the organizers I use for when I’m traveling! This includes my skincare, makeup, Dyson, jewelry, and clothing. For shoes, we usually have a good amount of dust bags so we just use those for packing.

FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS FOR TRAVEL

FAVORITE PERSONAL BAGS

There is no denying that I love a good handbag, so I had to throw in some designer selections. When it comes to my personal bag, this is where I like to keep my jewelry, chargers, laptop, and my in-flight skincare routine. Truthfully, there isn’t much that I do, just a quick cleanse with a makeup wipe, mask, moisturizer, and an anti-pollution spray. This is more so for long haul flights! But when it comes to traveling through the airport, I’ll also usually bring a big canvas tote bag with me to keep the bag clean and just throw in the wash after the trip. Sharing my personal bag checklist below!

  • Passport

  • Wallet

  • Phone / Charger

  • Book / Kindle

  • Nintendo Switch

  • In-flight Skincare Routine

  • Medicines / Vitamins

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Vlog Camera

  • Laptop

  • Eye Mask

  • Snacks

TRAVEL GADGETS

This is for my fellow content creators! These are great gadgets to travel with whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, getting creative, etc. The travel tripod I’m including for this list is meant for the iPhone and smaller cameras so please don’t use this with larger/heavier equipment that require a bit more stability.

TRAVEL TIPS

Favorite Travel Credit Card?

I have the American Express Platinum Card and Marco has the Chase Sapphire but between the two of us, we see more rewards with my Amex Platinum so it’s my go-to anywhere we go. If you travel often, I can’t recommend the Amex Platinum enough. If interested, use my referral link to apply!

How do you plan out where you want to go?

Whenever I see a place that I want to check out, I bookmark that location in my Google Maps. Once it’s saved, I usually zone out our days once we get to our destination. Since we walk everywhere, it’s easy for me to see if we’re near our “saved locations” and we can plan our route in that neighborhood.

How do you pace your purses?

I never put valuables in my check-in so these items are always in my carry-on. I will only travel with 2-3 purses and these will fit nicely in my carry-on. To cushion, I’ll usually pack a sweater along with it for additional protection.

How do you track your suitcases?

We use Airtags in all of our bags!

Is Airline Loyalty worth it?

Yes! If you travel often, staying loyal to one airline has tons of perks in the long run. Highly recommend picking one airline to always travel with and build status.

Tips for finding aesthetic places to visit in the foreign country?

Tik Tok is my go-to for finding places in other cities!

What carrier do you use for Wade?

Wade uses the Away Pet Carrier!

Hope everyone has amazing travel for the year ahead! For my travel vlogs, feel free to check out my YouTube Channel linked here.
