There’s another rumor of another price increase. Shocker. What it involves and by how much is unsure but the consistent price increases in the past 18 months has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. The Chanel Classic Flap was a dream bag but with a $3000 price increase since May 2020, it’s been extremely frustrating to see how both boutique prices drastically affect the resale market as well. Sharing a price comparison of what bags were at in early May 2020 (before the May 21st Price Increase) to what it currently is at now (before the next anticipated increase).

Because of these price increases, I was turned off to boutique pricing a while back, but there are still a lot of great options when it comes to vintage or other bag styles as well.
